ABOUT SOILARC

Agricultural transition happens through time.
The evidence should too.

SoilArc was created around a simple problem: agricultural change is rarely visible in a single measurement, report or reporting period. Evidence is fragmented across time, sources and systems, making it difficult for those providing and managing capital to establish what is actually changing.

PURPOSE

The farm has a story.
Evidence reveals it over time.

SoilArc connects the evidence that is available into a longitudinal record, preserving source, date, lineage, limitations and uncertainty.

The purpose is not to reduce a farm to a universal score. It is to establish direction, persistence and evidence confidence, while keeping the underlying evidence accessible.

PRINCIPLES

What SoilArc holds to.

01

Longitudinal, not snapshot

Agricultural transition is assessed through evidence accumulated through time.

02

Evidence before inference

Available evidence and its provenance remain the foundation of the record.

03

Direction before score

SoilArc seeks to establish the direction and persistence of change rather than collapse a farm into a single universal number.

04

Confidence made explicit

The strength, limitations, gaps and conflicts in the available evidence remain visible.

FARM TO PORTFOLIO

From the individual farm
to the portfolio.

SoilArc is being designed for use from the individual farm through to agricultural portfolios, so institutional users can move between portfolio-level intelligence and the evidence underlying an individual asset.
